Situated on the outskirts of Telford
in the beautiful county of Shropshire, TNC extends a warm welcome to visitors and members alike. Whether you are visiting for the day or staying longer, the extensive facilities that we offer should provide everything required by the genuine naturist.Established on a former colliery site
over 25 years ago and set in 30 acres of carefully managed and landscaped grounds, TNC offers a tranquil oasis where the genuine naturist can relax and unwind. Young or old, we are certain that you will want to return time and time again. TNC welcomes all membership applications from families, couples and singles.Telford Naturist club is a private members' club
managed by an elected committee. Monthly members meetings are held to allow members to air their individual views on the ongoing management, and to put forward ideas for the club's future development. A monthly newsletter is produced to ensure that all members are kept up to date with news, views and gossip. Work and maintenance at TNC is done voluntarily by the members, ensuring profit made by the club is directed into the clubs future development. There is no expectation for individuals to participate in the maintenance of the club, but all offers of help are welcomed and appreciated.Members caravan pitches
are located throughout the site with further touring caravan and camping pitches available for visitors. All touring pitches are served by an electric hook up. Drinking water, toilet and waste disposal facilities are conveniently located.The TNC clubhouse
is normally open for use whenever members are on site. The fully licensed bar is generally open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, and Saturday and Sunday afternoons. The bar may also be open at other times, depending on demand and the availability of volunteer staff. The bar has a wide selection of draft and bottled beers, along with other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and beverages.The clubhouse has recently been extended, providing a larger dance floor and nearly doubling the previous seating capacity. Entertainment is often scheduled during the weekends, including dance and party nights, comedy shows, quiz nights and the dreaded karaoke: See the events list for more details.
The clubhouse kitchen serves affordable meals between 12pm and 2pm Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Mondays. Other meals may also be available at certain times. Please ask for details.
"The Windings"
Originally the winch building for the pit head, The Windings have been converted to provide shower, washroom and toilet facilities as well as a sauna and a family entertainment room. The building is currently being completely renovated to provide new and better facilities. A lean-to extension provides washing-up facilities and a token operated washing machine.Note: The sauna is available free of charge after 7pm on Fridays and Saturdays (also on Sundays and Mondays on Bank Holiday weekends.) At other times, there is a charge of £1.50 per person, with a minimum charge of £6.
The club has a superb heated outdoor swimming pool
with a fixed depth of 4ft. Other outdoor sporting facilities at the club include volleyball, miniten, shuffleboard and boules courts. The "under 18's" room is equipped with games and toys for kids of all ages, along with TV/video and a computer. The outdoor play area has plenty to keep younger children entertained, including a large wooden fort, a sand pit and a slide.If you prefer to just relax, then a large sunbathing lawn is provided directly outside the clubhouse. If you fancy a stroll, the site has 23 acres of natural and unspoilt woodland with delightful walks and sunbathing areas. Wildlife and plants flourish in abundance. A host of other animals inhabit the woodland where buzzards, woodpeckers and a variety of birds fly above the trees.
